I just wrote a song...?!

I was up most of the night working on a song with Chika. This songwriting thing is addictive...I had written this poem a while ago and Chika was able to put some music to it. She is scheduled to finish her CD this fall. I hope it makes the cut.

She is convinced that I should sing it. I am convinced that I would fail miserably.

It sounds like a pop song to her and it really sounds like a contemporary country song to me. It would be wild to have a hit country song, but I like it that way and and going to try and get her to record it both ways.
