Tax Deal is Stimulus 2.0

The banana republic analogy is apt, with the notable exception that in our banana republic, the middle and lower income constituents routinely vote (to their own economic detriment) to provide this power to the rich. Yesterday was a great day for rich guys. Not so much for the rest of us. But apparently, it's exactly what this vast middle America wants.
