This idea is pretty cleaver....

Look, if you’re going to wear a button down collar shirt, button the collar. Otherwise you look un-kept and a little stupid.

Now you can buy a button down, have the buttons removed and use collar stays or Spray Starch. I’ve done that when the shirt was worth it. It’s better than looking like you don’t know how to dress yourself.
