Black yellow brown red white and the boys in blue

50 years removed from the 'end of the struggle' and the lives of minorities are still marginalized.  The voices,  the faces, and the stories are lost in this land that we love.  The desire is the same.  The desire is to live, love, prosper, and fulfill the desires of the heart.

The discourse is different because the POV is different. There are entire communities that have a real fear of police brutality.  Aren't they sworn to serve and protect?  Is the oath thrown out of the window once they cross the tracks?

I read a comment about complying so that a complaint can be filed or an attorney can be contacted to right the wrong.  This isnt the luxury of the oppressed.  Mommy and daddy can't call the family attorney or someone on the force to shake things up.  And when cases are presented they rarely right the wrongs.  They allow killers to go free and they  discredit the pain that broken families feel after the senseless deaths of their loved ones.

The conversation must continue until the voices are heard, the stories are different, the opportunities are the same, and the fears are gone.  That's the dream.

This video comes from the POV of a minority male pulled over for a traffic citation.  Thank you Lavish Reynolds (Diamond).
